What happens to my founding rate after the founding group fills?
Your founding rate is protected for two years from the day we open. Through that window you keep the founding price even as standard pricing rises and applies to everyone who joins after the founding group fills. The founding group stays small by design, so the rate is only available while spots remain. Once it fills, founding pricing is gone for good and new members come in at standard rates.
How long is my founding rate locked?
Your founding rate is locked for two years from the day we open, not from the day you join. Because the clock starts at opening, every founding member gets the full two years no matter when they reserved their spot. Through that window you keep your founding rate, and after it, membership continues at our regular rates.
Can I change tiers or group size later?
Yes, and it is meant to be flexible. You can move between Essential and Premium at any time, and you can change group size, for example Solo to Duo or Duo to Pack, when you add or remove named members. Your founding rate carries to the new tier and group size, so growing your membership never costs you your locked pricing. Changes take effect at the start of your next billing cycle.
How do shared hours work for Duo and Pack?
Included bay hours belong to the membership, not to each named person, so a Duo or Pack shares one monthly pool however the group likes. A Duo Premium membership, for example, has 16 hours per month total: one partner could use 12 and the other 4, or you could split them evenly. Any named member can book against the shared pool from their own account, and the member portal shows how many hours are left and who has used what so far this month.
Can I cancel or pause my membership?
Monthly members can cancel anytime from their account, with no long-term contract; you keep access through the end of the month you have already paid for. Annual members hold a committed one-year term, so annual is not cancelable partway through; the monthly plan is the flexible option if you want to be able to stop anytime. If you need to step away rather than cancel outright, reach out and we will work out a pause that fits your situation.
Can I cancel my founding membership?
Yes, with no penalty. Before we open, all you have put down is the $149 founding deposit, and that stays fully refundable until we open, so nothing locks you in early. Once you are a paying member, monthly founding memberships are month to month: cancel anytime from your account, including over the summer, and you keep access through the end of the month you have already paid for. Canceling also does not cost you your founding rate, as long as you come back within your founding rate window. Annual memberships are a committed term and work a little differently, which we cover just below.
If I cancel, can I come back at my founding rate?
Yes, with no penalty and no new deposit. If you cancel and come back within your founding rate window, which runs through opening and the two years after it, you return at your founding rate rather than our regular rates. There is nothing extra to pay to rejoin: you resume your founding rate from your first month back, the same rate you had before. It is not free access, since your founding dues start up again, but stepping away never costs you that rate or adds a fee.
Can I cancel an annual membership?
An annual membership is a commitment for the full year, so it is not cancelable partway through the term. To make the year easier to carry, you can pay in monthly installments through Affirm or Afterpay at checkout instead of all at once, and annual members get unlimited included bay hours every summer, from May 1 through September 30. If you would rather keep the freedom to stop anytime, the monthly plan is month to month with no commitment.
Do annual members really get unlimited summer hours?
Yes. From May 1 through September 30, members on annual contracts have unlimited included hours, so your membership keeps earning its keep even when the outdoor season pulls you away. Standard booking rules apply, which means it is open access to summer capacity that would otherwise sit idle rather than priority over other members. It is our way of saying your membership does not hibernate just because the courses open up.
Do included hours roll over, and what do extra hours cost?
Included hours reset on the first of each month and do not roll over. The pools are sized so a regular off-season player uses most of their hours every month, so very little is left on the table. If you do go past your included hours, additional time is half the prevailing walk-in rate during staffed hours, or a flat $25 per hour during unstaffed fob access. You only ever pay for time beyond what your plan already includes.
How do guests work?
Bookings are made by bay rather than by player, so a member can bring up to three guests on any booking at no additional cost, up to the bay's four-player capacity. Their time comes out of your booking, not a separate guest fee. It makes the club an easy place to host a friend, a client, or family without anyone needing their own membership.
What hours can I actually use the bays?
Members have programmable-fob access across the full operating window, including the unstaffed early mornings and late nights that walk-ins cannot book, while non-members are limited to staffed hours. The specific operating hours are still being finalized and will be announced before we open. The bays are open every week of the year.
